For Those Who Have Obtained Education Abroad or Through International Programmes
I obtained my education abroad. What documents do I need to submit?
I obtained my lower-secondary education in institutions of foreign countries:
- In the CPIS information system, when filling out the application to study in a vocational education programme, please upload copies or photos of your lower-secondary education documents. The academic recognition of these documents will be carried out by the vocational education institution you selected as your first priority.
I obtained my upper-secondary education in institutions of foreign countries:
- Contact the Study Quality Assessment Centre (SKVC) for academic recognition of your qualification.
- In the CPIS information system, when filling out the application to study in a vocational education programme, please upload copies and/or photos of your upper-secondary education documents and attach the certificate obtained from SKVC.
Can I apply for a state-funded place if I obtained my education from foreign institutions or through international organisations’ educational programmes?
The right to state-funded places is granted to:
- Individuals with a permanent residence permit in the Republic of Lithuania.
- Individuals with a temporary residence permit in the Republic of Lithuania on the basis of temporary protection.
In all other cases, individuals who have obtained their education in foreign institutions or under the education programmes of international organisations can only apply for state-unfunded places.
